They made me feel so welcome. Like I had belonged to this university ever since I was born. And the house mom is kind and accepting." she looked at Jill half concerned. " Why Is there something bothering you about our sorority then?" she asked. Most girls had wanted to become a member of a sorority as soon as the arrived at Wenlock. It was unusual that she didn't. Layla looked around at the walls and smiled. It was all so familiar to her now but to Jill it must be so strange, so unfamiliar.
Jillian listened attentively as Layla spoke, her light eyebrows furrowed just slightly as she listened, her gaze on the grass ahead of them as they walked through campus. Jill smiled faintly as Layla mentioned her sorority's house mum. "Yeah, I heard she was nice," she mentioned. But as Layla then asked if there was something that bothered her about their sorority, Jillian immediately shook her head. "Oh no, not-- I mean, that's not really... I just... I only know you, I'm not so sure about the other girls... and I've heard sororities and fraternities are mostly about parties and that kind of thing. I'm not sure I'd want to join one if it'll affect my studies," she explained. She looked a little doubtful as she continued gazing around the campus before turning back to Layla. "Wanna go get some coffee and talk? I have a bunch of questions about this, it's still too new for me," she offered with a small smile.

Not that the people of Wenlock weren't friendly. His roommates, Syler and Harlem, were great. Syler was a seasoned sophomore and it was fantastic to have a person around to show him the ropes of Wenlock. Harlem was a neat freak and always cleaning Faris's belongings, and Faris didn't mind one bit. He actually found it quite endearing; it was almost like living with his mamma back in the Italian countryside once more. His acquaintances were also pretty friendly as well. Brushing some stray dirt off of his white cotton tee shirt, he noticed two acquaintances on the pathway up ahead; none other than Jill and Layla. He had met them at the stray party or two but had not spoken to them too much. Passing them by, he smile and spoke in his slight Italian accent, "Good afternoon, ladies." Nodding, he continued on his way.
"Hey Faris," Jill greeted the boy with a wave before turning back to Layla.
