"How-" But before she could finish, the other boy stupefy-ed the bird. "Was that really necessary?" she asked the boy, looking back at him.

"I'm sorry," he said embarrassed. "I- I thought it was going to attack me, or you, or something..." He started putting his wand back in his pocket. "I'm really nervous about this and- AAH!!!"
