| I have Cinn's permission Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict Adrienne listened as Phoebus continued on her tack of trying to convince Miles to let them take him to Healer Ashford. The common sense was there, and she agreed with the idea that neither of them could help him. She'd pretty much been told that by Healer Ashford when she'd gone to the Hospital Wing about her fingers. Besides, she didn't have any calmin draughts on her, strong or otherwise, and even if she did, her dismal Potions skills meant it probably wouldn't help anyway. "Miles. Think about it. You're letting your panic get to you. Healer Ashford doesn't have drugs. She's here to help you, not hurt you," she said, continuing her boyfriend's speech. "We can't help you in here, and all you're doing is making the rest of us worry even more. You're prefect, you're supposed to set an example, and right now we need that." Especially the younger students who were starting to notice.
As she noticed Phoebus had his wand out, she finally picked her own up from near her pygmy puffs and sighed as Miles started backing away and babbling about voices in his head. There were two things she could do with that, and neither one seemed like the best idea, given the circumstances. But at least one idea was, well, slightly less intrusive if not better for both him and her. Glancing at Phoebus once again, she took a breath before returning her attention to the panicking prefect. "I'm sorry, Miles. We just want to help you," she said to him, pitching her voice so it could be heard by the two boys but not everyone else in the room. Although she hoped what she was going to do didn't cause any more chaos, they didn't really have much choice. Not if Miles was going to continue to argue. And then she pointed her wand, casting a nonverbal Stunning spell at the prefect.
