Gold poked him back, with a frown. Why were they poking each other? No idea. "Your hair is nice, too," she told him, with a cheerful smile. "... and yes, you and Brody are perfect for each other." Like Gold and Dylan were. Perfect for each other, that is.

She patted his hand, trying to calm him down. "Things will be fine, Mr. T," she assured him, with a nod. They would be, right? "... and my present? Why, thank you. Now give it to me." She stuck her tongue out at him, in an attempt to lighten up his mood.
