"Now then. Let us discuss why you lost. Thoughts?"
Jake simply could not help the miniscule pouted that became present on his lips. He looked dejectedly at his own thumbs, then to his alien looking hands, and then to the thumbs that were flying away.
Quite disappointed in himself, Jake sat back in the chair, back to staring at his hands again.
"Yuhh-you can ddddo muhh-magic," he mumbled resentfully, turning his hands over a few times.
"I c-c-can't."
Then, as if properly thinking about it, he looked back up at Kazi.
"I un-un-underes-estimm-timmmmmuhh... un... d-duh... es... tttim... ate... id yuhh-you," he pointed out, having obvious trouble with that word.
Frowning, Jake went back to looking at his hands. He once again raised his left hand to his face, and this time put his lips over where his thumb used to be.
Siiiiigh. It just wasn't the same.
