If there was one thing Gold totally knew, it was that she was going to be a healer, one day. Which was exactly why her first response to the sight of the few cuts was to want to grab his hand and heel the tiny injuries.
"Dylan!" She totally ignored what he had said about loving her. "What's this?" She gently took hold of both his hands.

Dylan smiled. Aww she was so cute. And that thing she had done with her hair today. It wasn't usually curly was it? It looked good anyway. It reminded him that he needed to get his cut. Maybe later. He could do with an extreme restyle over the summer. The long-ish locks weren't going so well with the darker hair.
He had got a little lost thinking about his new hairstyle. She squealed a Dylan. Now why was that. He followed her eyes to his hands. She was upset about his hands. She should see his chest. No he couldn't show her that. That was upset her beyond belief. And he didn't want that at all.
"Um. Well roses have a minor defense mechanism," he smiled, holding his hands up. "They have thorns, which kinda hurt when they get you. I took them off for you though. You don't need little cuts like mine." He quickly hid his hands behind his back. "They are only little cuts, they will heal soon. They didn't even bleed."
