Ondie watched as the man pulled some strange Muggle contraption off of his head. Head phones, or whatever they called them. No wonder he couldn't hear her. No matter. He had a nice smile. That was professional, right? Skipping the crap and cutting to the chase? Ooh, this was actually kind of exciting! Ondie was often suffocated in the never-ending paperwork of the office. Being out of there felt like such a fresh breath of air so far.
She held her pencil to the notebook, poised and ready to take the man's order. Would she be able to write everything down fast enough? She figured that was why Muggles took writing classes, after all.
Hmm, this one was gonna be harder to crack. No matter, Kwan wasn't one to give up easily. He took note of the name, and made sure to come down in something nice next time. He didn't need to look at the menu since he always got the same thing for brunch.
