Leo felt like he had nothing to worry about, he was an ex-Auror and had plenty of experience. And so what? He didn't exactly get permission from the Headmaster to put on this little gathering, but the Headmaster was sleeping more and more everyday. This would be a great opportunity for them to learn. "After Miss Weasley tries to do some damage," Leo scoffed. "Yeah right," he said under his breath. "Then I will pair you off in teams and we will see what damage you can try to do at one another!"
Parker applauded. He hoped Victoire would come out okay. Professor Lester was serious man and had seen a lot. But, Parker got excited about partnering up, maybe he'd get a chance to show Jay a thing or two.
Victoire put on a smile, even though her heart seemed to be pounding a hole through her chest. She didn't seem to hear the light applause of the crowd as she ascended the stage, on the opposite end of Leo. What would it feel like to be crucioed or imperiused if an unforgivable hit her? What would it feel like to actually
perform an unforgivable curse? Taking her stance, she whipped her wand out of the pocket of her robes. The letter from Kyle to Rose still remained in her cloak pocket as she had not chosen to burn it, defying Rose's wishes. She spun her wand around in her fingers anxiously, trying to get the feel of her polished, wooden friend before the demonstration began. "Ready?" She called out across the stage.
