But no, no need to think about that now. She needed to be happy and cheerful and impress Nate's parents. They had raised Nate, so they couldn't be all bad, could they?

Nate stood nervously hoping his parents wouldn't embarrass him. He just wanted to get to Florida as fast as possible. He just want to spend the whole break with Cadence. Not his parents, not his sexist old friends, not his drunk grandma, nobody but her. He squeezed her hand as she flashed him a smile. He stood on his tippy toes to look over the crowd. He saw an odd couple looking around the train station.

"They're over there, Cady! Let's go!" he said using magic to lift both of thier bags and pulling Cadence gently threw the crowd.

"Nate!" Kevin said catching sight of his little boy. He pulled his wife by the hand over the few feet to his son and his son's girlfriend. He hugged Nate. It was a good feeling hugging him again. He didn't give those out very often. He had missed his son. He hadn't seen him in over a year.
"You must be Nate's girlfriend." he said stepping back and putting out his hand to the girl in dark clothes. His first impression was made. This girl was bad news for Nate. Black with dark jeans and boots? This girl was obviously trying to impress him to much.
