Oh boy. Resisting the urge to roll her eyes, Liatris was beginning to seriously wonder if Nadia really thought that adventure could be had in Diagon Alley. Best not tell her about Knockturn Alley or ...any of those sorts of shifty places. It was more or less going to be like a really cheap tour, without millions of tourists taking photos left right and centre.
So she stumbled along beside Nadia, trying to find something of interest. But what should be on the left hand side of the street? The Quidditch shop! Safe place. Keep Nadia entertained for a while. Also keep her out of trouble. Yes. Good, Liatris, good.
"Look, Nadia. Your favourite store." Liatris said, heading over to peer into the shop window. She had taken an interest in Quidditch when Nadia joined the Ravenclaw team; it was something she liked to follow and keep up to date on, and while she was still trying to master the skill of flying, Liatris preferred to keep her feet on the ground for now. And, of course, to understand what Nadia rants about. There was a new book out as well as what looked like the latest Quidditch gear on display.
"Look, Nad...I think the new shinpads are out. They've even got special night-game reflectors on them."
