"Can we just not talk about it?" she asked, refusing to handle any other conversation about Patrick. The fact that Thalia kept on rubbing the truth on her face made her uncomfortable. She had no right to do that. If she wanted someone who blamed her, she could aswell run to America.

Okay... Did she had to be there listening to all that romantic crap? Ryan herself was a romantic and a dreamer, but Thalia had just taken away her will to feel happy.
"Listen, Thal... Do you like the guy? The one you're dating with? I don't think it makes all that sense for you to be with him if you are going to keep on thinking about two other guys." Ryan said, as kindly as she could. "The guy you're with... He should be the that makes you forget all the others. He should be the one that makes you forget there are even other guys on the planet. He's that guy you can't take out of your mind. He's the guy you're mind keeps wondering about..." Okay, maybe she should just shut up.

Afterall... Romance was overated.
