As luck would have it though, someone called out to him just as he was two steps away from the door. Turning around, he looked up to the gaze of the assumed Healer, as he quickly tried to hide the half-flower behind his back. "Uh... Hi..." Aaron greeted back, cheeks flushing pink, as she seemed to have caught notice of the flower. Pulling it back around to the front, he stared at it for a good moment, before making an amused grin. "This? Oh... I ... Just practicing Transfiguration." Should he tell her it was supposed to be for her? He wanted to, but honestly, he felt terrible that it wasn't as PRETTY as he intended. Yet she said . . . with just the right amount of water and sunlight . . . implying she knew some about plants, right?
"I'm... Not very good," he admitted, shaking his head. Of course he was still young, but he guessed, he expected to be better from the start.
Gabriella stared at the small half-flower a second longer before meeting the boy's gaze once again. Transfiguration, hmm? Putting two and two together, Gabriella figured that the young boy had just been taught
Orchideous and hadn't exactly gotten the spell down pat yet.
She waved her hand so as to say 'that doesn't matter at all' when he admitted to not being very good.
"Nonsense, you're doing wonderfully. It's perfectly normal to not exceed our own expectations at first. I should know---I'm my worst critic," she admitted.
"Besides, not very many people can even produce that," she said, pointing towards the half-flower.
"At least you have a good starting point. Like I said, with the right amount of water and sunlight, that could become a much bigger flower."
