Samuel snorted at the girl, little did she know that he was overcharging all the kids for their butterbeer. So he didn't have to be nice to nobody, he was actually raking it in right now. "I would probably make an even bigger profit, if you two went and found some seats and stop crowding my -" personal -"bar space."

He gaped back at the man when he suggested the two of them leave. Last time Jack had checked, people weren't fleeing at the sight of HIM, something the bartender probably could not relate to. Wouldn't he feel stupid when he knew that Jack was practically a professional Quidditch player?! Well, ok, he still hadn't tried out or officially made it yet BUTTT...yeah. He'd feel DUMB if he knew that, right?
Jack couldn't pluck up the courage to tell him that, though. The guy was like THISCLOSE to throwing them out and...yeah. He could not afford a scene like that. Especially in front of a PROFESSOR. That was double embarrassing!
Blushing, he ignored the man and turned back to Reese. "Oh yeah, NEWTS. I forgot about those," he said with a sigh. He should REALLY start studying for those too...he was going to need to try extra hard, especially since he had Head Boy duties and all that stuff now. "Of course! We'll have to study a LOT, especially since last term we really didn't learn ANYTHING, did we?" he said with a sigh.
The memory of doing laps in Borr's office was still fresh in his mind.
Reese took her butterbeer of the counter and wiped the top of it with the bottom of her shirt - just in case it had dust or something on it - before taking a sip. LUV? Was the really what he just called her?
"It's Reese," she corrected him. "And, you would need hand sanitizer because your hands look really dirty. You wouldn't want to make the kids sick with your dirty hand would you? You know germs spread through contact. So, when you touch the butterbeer bottles and then hand them to students, your spreading germs." She nodded her head, then she placing her butterbeer on the table before she opened her purse and brought out a little bottle of hand sanitizer that handed towards the man. "You can keep it too," she added with a grin. It wasn't like that was her only bottle.
"Why would I want to go find some seats when I enjoy talking to you?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. "Plus, that doesn't even make sense! I'm standing here with Jack and, yet, people are still coming up and buying drinks. Sooooo, technically if I leave, you won't make a
bigger profit." Facts were facts.
Upon hearing Jack say her name in a hissy kind of way, she turned her attention to him. "Whaaaat? I was just asking him if he wanted hand sanitizer," she responded. She might have also given him some without getting a appropriate response, but oh well. It wasn't like it was a crime, right? She just wanted the barkeeper to have good hygiene. There was NOTHING wrong with that.
Forgot about NEWTs? That amazed her. "I wish I could forget about NEWTs," she mumbled. It was just make her life easier if she didn't have to worry about them. She giggled a little bit, then added, "I would suggest adding 20 more of the words 'a lot' to that statement. You do know your girlfriend told Torin that Earth moves slowly, right?" That was just SOOOO embarrassing right there. "I think we might have to go all the way back to 1st Year Astronomy and study that," she stated before picking up her butterbeer and taking another drink.
"Where did Borr go?" She suddenly asked. He was there for one lesson, then he was gone.
