Cadence looked at at her, flashing her a smile. "It's Cadence, actually, but a lot of people call me the wrong name at first, so don't feel bad." It was true. A lot of people tried to call her Candice or Candance or things of that nature. And she was trying to play nice, even though she had the feeling that Kat liked her about as much as Lucy did... which didn't seem to Cady to be very much at all. She stepped a little closer to Nate, holding his hand a little tighter. For some reason, she felt kind of uncomfortable here, but the closer she was to Nate, the safer she felt.
