Personality: Melanie is someone who loves to have a good time. A party girl, in other words. Always in a cheerful mood whether everyone likes it or not. Mostly, she can come off as a sarcastic and lazy. She is a very laid back kind of person who doesn't seem like she takes her work seriously from first glance, but when the time calls for it, she can be a very down to earth and serious depending on the situation. Melanie is very determined and dedicated to her work and will not stop until she solves the problem or situation. She is very protective of her friends and loved ones, and would do anything to save and help them if needed.
Brief Background: Melanie was actually born in the states, on Christmas day to Nathan and Louise Silvar. She was premature by three and a half months, and the doctors for a month or so, thought she wouldn't have been able to survive since she was smaller than any of the others that had been premature. But she was a fighter, and wouldn't give up so easily, just as this trait shines through her nowadays. She grew up into a healthy young child, kind and care free as ever. When she turned seven though, her family had to move to England, which made a hard impact on her. She loved her hometown, her friends, and she didn't want to move, but there was no choice for her. Later, rather than sooner, she made a few other muggle friends in her neighborhood, and she was finally getting into the swing of things when she finally got her Hogwarts letter. Being sorted into Gryffindor, it seemed as though it was easier to make friends here than it was back home, which was ever grateful for. She was especially protective of her friends since she hated to see others pick on people, but it seemed more like a hobby and lifestyle for her instead of just a trait. After Hogwarts, she decided to go into training to become an auror, finding it more like a calling than anything, which she found naturally easy to go through. Her skill in wand work and intelligence had gotten her through more tough and sticky situations than all her family combined.
