He glanced between the two girls and his frown deepend. First they were furious with him. Then they were crying. Then they were as happy as the first day he had met them. Then back to nearly crying. Now happy again.
He put a hand to his head and flopped onto his back. It was starting to give him a headache; all the circles.
But they were back to talking about classes. Classes that didn't involve the Great Hall conversation. He let out a heavy breath. He had trouble letting things go, especially when there was opinion to be had, but Allison had accepted his apology and Arya...well Arya just seemed to want to forget. He supposed it wasn't that much to ask to let it go.
So he did and let his eyes return to the stars. That only reminded him he had Astronomy homework to do. Joys. |
