SPOILER!!: Satine

She glanced off towards the other groups to see what they were doing and then saw a blur of white and black breeze past her.

She looked at Tobias kind of lost, "O, ummmm, I guess I should go get that." she said as she turned and ran after the ball that had stopped a few feet away. She tried to run as athletically as she could but with all her dance training it looked more like gliding.

Once at the ball she glanced at Iris, "Okay, here it comes Iris." she said. Satine's right foot kicked up towards the back and then she brought it down as hard as she could trying to kick the ball and then

BAM!!!!

Satine had missed the ball completely and landed on the ground...flat on her butt...with a little...

EEP!!! as she fell...

When the shock wore off she glanced around quickly to see who had seen her. Her purple hair was everywhere and there was grass in it. After a few seconds, she quickly jumped up laughing almost hysterically.

Through the laughing, she quickly tapped the ball towards Iris direction. It didn't roll the whole and stopped a few feet in front of Iris, but Satine just couldn't focus after her fall. She quickly wiped off her robes and her legs of the dirt and ran, no glided once again, back to the group as dignified as she could while still laughing. She was still picking grass out of her hair when she finally stopped within her group.

Tobias winced as Satine fell. "You alright?" he asked when she returned to the group. Thankfully, Tobias had great balance. Even if he had no idea what he was doing, he probably wouldn't fall. And even if he did, there was already so much grass and dirt on his clothes no one outside of the group would know.

He couldn't help but notice the shocking color of her hair. How had he missed that before? The green grass stood out against the purple like the black stood out against the white of the soccer ball.

She listened to Tobias as he spoke, "Instead of using your toes, use the sides of your feet - " Iris lifted her foot up and indicated to it, " - because it won't hurt your feet as much, and it will give you much more control over the ball. Watch."

Iris stole retrieved the ball and dribbled it a few times, kicking it slowly enough for Tobias to see how it was done. "It's dead simple when you know how to do it. Here, you try." She kicked the ball gently to him, so that he'd actually be able to get it and stop it... Maybe if Candy did the same then Satine's face will survive the lesson.

After receiving the much-abused ball from Iris, Tobias tried the thing called "dribbling". He did it slowly, trying to copy Iris footfall by footfall - each step touching the ball, moving it forward, keeping it within reach. He then tried it a bit quicker, and it got sloppy, so he stopped and tried his new passing technique. Using the inside of his foot, Tobias sort of shoved the ball at Satine, so she could have another shot at it.

Marcus was just sliiiiightly exasperated right now. "Okay. Seriously if you all followed my directions there should be no injuries whatsoever. I said to dribble the ball and pass it to a member in your group, NOT kick the crap out of it." He threw his hands up in the air and looked around at each of the students. It was a ball for goodness sakes how could that possibly hurt?

"And for those of you who aren't partcipating in the class, I have taken down your names and if you don't start joining in then I am going to have some very unpleasant jobs for you to do."
Tobias clapped his hands to his ears. That had to be the loudest whistle ever, louder than even the whistle the neighborhood kids used when they played Quidditch in the widespread, hilly fields that were part of the hidden Melusine Grove.

Sports had never really been Tobias's thing. He preferred working in his garden and watching the on-the-spot matches. Occasionally there would be a village celebration complete with magical games and competitions; sometimes he'd take part in those. But this Football game was kind of fun. When he used the right part of his foot, the passing felt almost natural. It was difficult to understand why some of the students were sitting out.
