She nodded to Reese. "I understand, I just meant that if you would've written her first, you would've gotten a letter from her years ago, instead of getting a letter from her after all the time she's been gone from Hogwarts. Fallon's never been one to keep up with sending owls." Reaching up, she captured a few locks of her hair, twirling them around her index fingers. "And ever since Fallon got the news of her father's death through a letter, she's kinda hated them since. Can't say I blame her, however." Reese was as excited about the baby as Delanie was! Sweet. "Well, the last time I talked to her was the night she found out the baby's gender, and she said she was going to name the baby Danity. Cute name, isn't it?" Delanie beamed.
"Ah, I guess that's true. I should have written her first. I really should have," Reese sighed. If she had written Fallon, she wouldn't have had to wait this long to talk to her friend. "I can't blame her either," she stated. She grinned when Delanie told her what Fallon was planning on calling the little girl. "That is such a cute," she commented. "Danity. I really do love it!"
Looking around the corridor, she looked back at the Hufflepuff. "I should get going," she spoke. "I'm getting a little hungry, so I think I'm going to head down to the Great Hall now. It was nice talking to you. I'll see you around, Delanie." She gave the girl a wave before heading down the corridor.
