It seemed she didn't, but then there was always Kazi to throw into the mix, and she thought the other girl liked the Potions professor.
"Yeah, that happens to me a lot too," she said in response to the designers talk, echoing what she'd told Allison a few minutes before. "And don't get me wrong, I like being able to choose them myself too. But my grandmother's awesome, and it's easy for me to delegate to her when I can't buy them myself. The catalogue thing sounds like a good idea too."
"I don't really know what to think." Celandine answered cautiously. It sort of made her uneasy considering how close Copernicus was to Truebridge and that Copernicus had had Truebridge's wand... and Cope had been under the Imperius curse for most of the previous term.
She really wanted to talk to Professor Kazimeriz about it.

I like it here just fine." He insisted, wondering why it seemed so warm all of a sudden. " What about you Cela? Good summer?" he asked, talking to make himself stop thinking about how she was sitting really really really close to him.
"A job! What kind? You know Plymouth right? He got a job at Slug and Jiggers." Cela was impressed by this, she wasn't a potionsy person and the idea of working for money was such a foreign concept. Foreign enough to intrigue her.
"I had a good summer mostly." A.revelation really. It was rare that she got a completely good one. It had been hard meeting her brother's son, but even that had been a good thing in the end.

But she went about it in a different way, she sat there and listened.
What a bore.
So with a nudge here and there she finally spoke up--and it was not anything particularly relevant. "Do you all follow muggle movies?"
Blink.
"I've seen
one." Cela volunteered and promptly brushed. Even though it hadn't been an intentional choice on Cope's part, it probably wasn't a suitable movie to discuss with a crowd that included a couple of eleven year olds.

"Wow - Egypt. What's he doing there?" she asked, suddenly VERY interested. Egypt was one of the bigger - maybe even the biggest - hot spots for people who did what she wanted to do after graduation. A career which she thought was AWESOME but often caught herself imagining doing stuff that Rachel knew she was definitely not brave enough for.
And Copernicus was. "That's nice. Reid's filming and I really don't want to distract him - plus, I'd have to use special owl services since I highly doubt Sky will make it all the way to Australia and back without dying at least a couple of times," the seventh year stated plainly, staring quietly at the hem of her skirt as she absentmindedly played with it.
"Oh/" Celandine answered with a few blinks of confusion. "Well I'm glad you and Livvy are all good now." Celandine smiled at the Head Girl too. "Filming in Australia? Like the muggle movies? Do they make those in Australia?"
Blink Blink. We don't know these things.
"Well Pr... Mister Truebridge got him an internship last summer at a dig site in Amarna. So like, from doing that Cope got a recomendation and he got accepted into the Wizarding University of Cairo and he's studying Wizarding Archaeology." Celandine explained.

"So I've been told," he said. "And you ain't so bad yourself." Wink.
"Ohh so you're like, supposed to be in my year? How'd you fail? Forget to learn stuff? Distracted by stuff? It can't be because you're stupid on account of you wouldn't have been sorted into Ravenclaw." Celandine explained, her voice curious and cheerful. "My brothers all went to Durmstrang. They're all old though." Cela waved her hand dismissively.
She took in the grin and the laugh and the wink combo and cheerfully winked back. Not so bad? Prefects were supposed to be good looking, Cela was sure. Or else people would get bored looking at them for examples and stuff.
"Oh I know I am. Sit down and join us if you like!" She offered. "You know, I'd totally be happy to help you with any subjects you have trouble with. Maybe not Astronomy and Potions, I didn't do all that well on those." As in... she hadn't got Os in those two subjects.
Still.
"How do you like it so far? There are a whole bunch of transfers this term!" Cela gestured around the common room, pointing some of them out.

Since not many had recognized her as THE Neptune Bott, THE daughter of the Bott that made those Beans that rotted all their precious teeth, she'd stopped expecting it of these clearly not-up-to-date in public affairs peers of hers.
"Greetings all!" Neptune has arrived, as was indicated by the princess wave and giggles at all their expense.
Celandine looked up as Neptune entered. She had written to her brother after sort of half distractedly meeting her on the train and stuff. Robert had written back with 'please be nice'. That sort of puzzled her. When was she not nice? She was Cela! People liked her and she liked people!
"Hi Neptune!" Celandine offered a cheerful greeting. She'd introduce her to the group she'd ended up surrounded in if Neptune wanted her to. And gosh was it getting big. Allison and Nina, Rachel, Livvy and Adrienne, Phoebus and Adam. She smiled at each of them as she mentally noted them, adding a wink for Phoebus and Adam for reasons she wasn't entirely sure of.
