Marcus looked over his shoulder towards the staff table and at the new DADA professor. Well he wouldn't exactly say that but he didn't want to scare the lad either. "Well lets just say, the new Professor certainly knows his stuff, where the Dark Arts are concerned."

Sidney found the headmaster to be not quite what she expected. She thought he would have a long beard, white hair, and weare bizarre robes and hats. The man who claims to be the headmaster doesn't act like he even knows the job. Sidney goes back to eating when one of the professors walks down the table talking. He mentions something about Australia. "Are you from Australia, sir. My mother is Australian." Sidney hates being a first year. She finds herself at a disadvantage because she not only doesn't know any of the staff, she also has no idea what the new headmaster is talking about. Students dying. Last term not being a cake walk. A DADA professor who teaches the dark arts? If Sidney didn't know better, she would swear she was at Drumstrung instead of Hogwarts.
