Destiny would not look back over there. Who knows what they were feeding each other now. Ughhh, why was she still think about them. There was more important things to think about. But that was a guess. At least they had a Healer. Destiny would have a panic attack if they didn't have one and she just so happened to get hurt.
Resting her head on her hands, Destiny glanced at all the new students. Maybe they were just missing their families, or they were just hungry. That was understandable, Destiny was starting to get hungry as well. BUt then she thought about Kay and Rex and the hunger passes. She wouldn't be able to eat for weeks.
'I am calm.' maybe not entirely calm but the calmness was coming back. Well that was until Destiny heard what Evelyn had offered the boy. Lifting her head from her arms, she looked at Evelyn and then to Rex, and then back to Evelyn. 'What? Why would you do that?' She didn't care that the boys was standing in ear shot. It was already obvious that Destiny didn't like him. Evelyn was being nice..to their enemy! 'Whatever. As long as he sits next to you.' she stated crossing her arms. Evelyn better not like another Gryffindork.
Classes hadn't even started yet and someone was already hurt. Was that like, a new record or something? She couldn't remember if there was anyone hurt last opening feast, except potatoes and something that had to do with two kids ending up dancing with pink tutus or something.
"Alright alright. You're calm." Raising a brow at her friend, she scooted the water filled goblet towards her, thinking maybe putting a little something in her stomach would calm her even more.
"Because." she whispered back, glancing from her to Rex. Was he going to sit? Or just stand there looking like...well she didn't know what he was imitating at the moment and she couldn't come up with a good enough answer.
'Gah, even in my mind I can't think of an insult. What's come over me? Jeez.' She didn't really want him to sit next to her either, but she knew Destiny would have a fit if she gestured to the open seat right there. Plus she wanted Josh to sit next to her, but apparently, he was
busy. Hmph.

Sighing, she blinked a few times before hearing what sounded like an echo of her sigh. Frowning, Evelyn looked around before noticing another girl, older this time, alone and quiet. Okay, so maybe she was in a really 'good' mood now and making friends seemed important at the moment. And the fact that the girl was older was a bonus as well. It was good to have older students as friends. Could totally help out if you need help picking on someone...he he.
"Hey. You look mighty bored." And that other girl still hadn't spoken yet...seriously why were they all gloomy?
