After smiling at Jack, Cela made a slight face. The new Headmaster obviously wasn't a Ravenclaw himself. Didn't he know that they absolutely had to KNOW stuff? Starting with who the new faces were of course!
Besides... why was HE Headmaster? Cela looked around in obvious confusion for a second and then when he continued to speak Cela blinked.
