Professor Kade. At least Gabriella knew for sure now which of the two men was the Headmaster and which was the professor. The Kade man seemed a bit reluctant to introduce himself to her, but then again, she'd found most of the men at the table a little on the quiet side. Maybe they all just happened to be the type of person you had to get to know first---the type that stays quiet when you first meet them but turns out to be really outgoing later on.

"Charms...I've always liked Charms...being a Healer and all. Charms and Potions, to be exact," she said, trying to say something, anything, to carry on conversation. First meetings were always so very awkward. "So how long have you been teaching here at Hogwarts?"

Another quick glance down the table showed Gabriella a few more staff members she had yet to meet. That brought the grand total of unknown colleagues to...ohhh, just about the entire staff. She'd been sitting here for a while now and only knew two people by name. It wasn't like she could have done this any differently, though. It'd have been odd to just stand up and make one big announcement---"Hey, everyone! I'm Gabriella Ashford!" Psh, yeah right. She'd just stick to eventually making the rounds and getting to know everyone little by little.
