She saw her cousin Anna get sorted into Slytherin and she saw Parker Yorke get sorted into Slytherin. Of course he was a Slytherin. Her life was going to be hell for the next 6 years at Hogwarts.
She stared blankly at her plate, not wanting anyone to talk to her. This couldn't be happening. Why did this have to happen?! Was fate trying to torture her this much? It just wasn't fair. Thalia barely noticed her surroundings. She had been excited and full of energy when she had first entered, now she just wanted to go home. For real. This was terrible and awful. Around her she noticed familiar faces. Evan, Aaron, and Art. This just felt so wrong and she felt like crying. Not that she would. No. That would make her look bad.
Avada walked up to a girl he didn't know. She looked miserable and for some reason, he was attracted to misery.
"Hello. I'm Avada Lurin. You don't look too happy. What's wrong?" He asked her.
