Tariana walked close to Jacob, both of her arms wrapped around one of his. It was a cold December night, and they were heading up the road to Hogwarts, where Tariana would stay until she graduated. Her breath hung in the air like tiny white clouds. She was nervous. Or perhaps anxious. She couldn't really tell. She squeezed Jacob's arm as snow fell gently around them.
"Let's see... I hunted, so I should be set for a few days. I have all of my belongings, my owl and you, but I still feel like I'm missing something!" Fallon exclaimed to Jacob. Her violet eyes scanned the grounds as they came closer to the school. The place was beautiful, but she was so scared of something bad happening there that she couldn't help but be a wreck as they made their way up the path. The wind blew slightly, causing her waist-length hair to dance around her and her clothes to whip against her skin. She wished she had pulled her hair back, but instead she pulled the hood of her black floor-length cloak over her head, her eyes glowing in the darkness. She looked slightly frightening, but still breathtakingly beautiful. It was her nature, after all. She was the perfect predator hybrid.
But still, she was afraid of what could happen.
