Georgie was prepared to keep this up until the boy was completely freaked out and decided to leave her alone at his own discretion. She would NOT stand for being called a boy. She was as girly as girly could be, and if the boy didn't see that, she would make him, in any means possible.
"Just... looking," she replied simply at his question. She started circling him, fumbling her fingers behind her back as she did so. As she surveyed him, she tried not to wrinkle her nose. His clothing was shoddy at best, but Georgie expected nothing more of a boy who looked as nasty as he acted. Ugh. "And I'm not full of myself at all. I'm just... just very confident," she explained, smiling still. It seemed the smile would remain on her face until she was left alone. Kinda creepy...
Then she giggled loudly. She even clamped her hand over her mouth for emphasis. For anyone who knew Georgie, this was something she absolutely did not do. It was highly unconvincing, as Georgina Abendroth guffawed if she wanted to, no hand to cover her mouth, but still poised of course. "Oh, dear boy. You DO like me," she insisted, poking his rib gently with her forefinger. "Of course," she paused thoughtfully. "If I were a boy (*tries not to break out into song*), and you liked me, then you'd have to be a girl." Her mouth formed an 'O' of realization. "You're a GIRL." She squealed, poking his rib once more.
"And and and. You just called me LOVE." At that, she slung her arm over his shoulder, in such a manner that Hugo would whenever he'd pull her close to him. Hah!
