If it was any sort of a sign today was turning out to be a good first day. For that was the second time today someone had decided to give her chocolate. And Melanie liked her chocolate. "Wow, Thanks." Melanie said gratefully, a grin planted on her face. She set the box next to her on the seat, feeling a little guilty for not getting anything for her. "You didn't forget I like chocolate." Melanie stated, reaching for the box, a thought occurring to her. She opened it up, her fingers fumbling clumsily. Then she held it out to the compartment, the girl who had yet to introduce herself included. "Want one?" she offered, shaking it a little. "If I eat all this myself by the end of the term I'll be as big as a sumo wrestler. No offense to them or anything."

Cadence giggled at Lanie's comments about the chocolate. She had missed her best friend oh so much! "How could I forget that you and chocolate have a very unhealthy, obsessive, but loving relationship, Lanie?" She watched as Lanie offered the chocolate frog to the other girl in the compartment and wished that she would talk. Cadence felt kind of bad that her and Lanie had just barged into the compartment and started squealing. "Is it true that the castle was flooded?" Cadence said, taking a Chocolate Frog from the box that she had just given Lanie.
