Keltan Micheals frowned to himself as he dragged his trunk and owl cage up and down the train. He felt old. Very old. 5th year! He was almost sixteen! ... Whoa. Checking back into reality, Kel peeked into the compartment he was standing by. Seeing a bunch of people he didn't know - and not feeling in the mood to barge into a compartment full of strangers - he continued on, now looking into every compartment he passed.
Finally, after a minute or two, he found one. The only problem with the one he found, though, was that he only knew one person in the compartment. Although, that one person happened to be who he liked to call his little sister. How could he pass it up?
Maybe...he could pop in, say hi, and then they wouldn't want him to stay, so he'd leave. Sounded like a good plan to him. Keeping that thought in mind, he knocked quietly on the door, then pushed it open. "Hey, Satine?" he asked, carefully avoiding looking at the others in the room. "Mind if I sit with you....?" Awwwkward....
Hearing another knock at the compartment door, Satine took her glance away from the others and smiled at the newcomer...but before she could smile too much she screamed,
"KEL!!!" just as he opened the door and asked if he could sit with her. She jumped up and ran over to hug him around the neck.
"Of course you can sit with me, " she said as she placed her purple bag on the floor making room him...she could tell he felt a little awkward coming into a compartment of peeps he didn't know so she instantly started introductions....she couldn't remember if anyone had met him before...
"Hey everyone, this is my big brother...well...my adopted big brother, Kel...." she said as she glanced over her shoulder and winked at him...then she continued and pointed at each person as she introduced them...
"And this is Aaron and Iris, my besties from Slythie, and Lucia, whom I just met..." she said with a smile and an encouraging nod to her compartment mates to say hello.
She turned her attention back to him...
"O my gosh...it feels like it's been forever and a day since I've seen you let alone talk to you.......how was your break? did you have to stay with your mom again this break? Was it better this time? What about....o what's her name...is it Jenn?" she said quickly...she always bombarded him with questions but they just had to catch up and fast.....she thought as she pushed one of her bangs behind her ears.
