Helena bit her lip as she stumbled forward, peering into one compartment after another, trying to find an empty seat. She was so nervous about her first year as a Hogwarts student, she had bats beating her black and blue inside her stomach.
After searching for what felt like hours, but was in reality only a few minutes, she spotted a nearly empty compartment, where a young girl, about the same age as herself, sat quietly with a grin stretched across her face. Helena smiled to herself.
She looks nice, Helena thought. Maybe she'll let me sit by her. So she hitched up the robes that were slightly too long, and fumbled the compartment door open.
"Hi. May I sit with you? Only, everywhere else is full."
