Rachel walked down the train, thinking about anything BUT the train. She had, of course, persuaded Jake to let her take the train this year - and, for once, he hadn't argued. But he shouldn't really; she was going to be eighteen this year. EIGHTEEN.
That was bloody big.
Sighing, she tried to work up a smile at people it passed but it was no use. She was just too depressed unhappy with the whole "being old and graduating" thing. As she walked, she kept her eyes on the lookout for people she may know, especially Livvy, since right about now she could REALLY use a distraction.
Bleh, did ALL her friends decide to hide away in compartments? She knew she should peer into every single one, but a) it was slightly rude if she intruded on people she didn't know and b) she really couldn't bothered. If the worst came to the worst, Rachel would just sit herself down at th back or the front of the train and force herself to sleep on the floor the whole way there.
... Maybe not. But still - where were everyone?
