Iris made her way through the train after having said goodbye to her mum and dad (they'd gotten over the 'issue' that they were having over the summer - though they point blank refused to tell Iris what it was that they'd split up over.) with her trunk and Luna's basket. She didn't have to walk far down the corridor until she'd reached an empty compartment, there weren't many people on the train....

She levitated her trunk into the luggage shelves and put Luna on top of the trunk. Iris walked over to the other side of the compartment and sat down nearest to the window. Iris had decided to wear a longer dress than those she'd been wearing recently, and she didn't have quite as much make up on as she did those two days in Diagon Alley ...

She looked out of the window at the people and students on the platform, wondering where Aaron and Wesley were, and how Fallon was doing... Maybe she could use her Instant Parchment to try to get a hold of her ... It was half ten in the morning though ... meaning that it would still be dark in Florida ... Maybe she should leave it till later. That would be the best thing to do.

Iris kicked her shoes off and put them under her seat, then sat with her feet under her bum, leaning against the window and she took out a French Novel that Anastasie had given her, saying that "Iris would really like it". Iris hadn't started it yet, but she figured that she might as well start it whilst no one else was here.
