Hogwarts. He sat facing the back of the train and glanced out the window. It was sure to be nothing like his last school, if the people he'd already met were any indication. And what house would he be sorted into? He and Chaucer had always been together, and it wasn't like he expected it to be any different, but for some reason his gut was telling him they might not be in the same house.
"I wonder what that would be like..."
Chaucer frantically burst through the door and looked around, arms full of needless (but insisted-upon) carry-on luggage and Black Whimsy, who cawed fitfully in response to his master's distress. When he finally saw Kellen, he abandoned all grace and ran off to sit by him.
"You went ahead! *huff* You know I have terrible sense of direction, what if I got lost or was picked up by some freak?!" Realizing he was making a scene he calmed down, straightened his posture and tried, as elegantly as he could muster, to set down his things.
Chaucer only thought that they had better end up in the same house... they were always together after all. Who would remind him of homework and important dates?
