You pretend you do. Like playing house, yes. We don't actually give you money or anything. So you can be as rich or as poor as you wish. You just go and withdraw money from Gringotts.
You don't have to talk in third person, but it sometimes makes things easier for those you are RPing with.
Classes will be announced in your Common Room when you start school. It is up to the teacher when they do them.
