Now where was everybody?
Heaving a sigh the 16 year old occasionally peeked into compartments at random, and just as she was about to give up and just ask a group of random Ravenclaws if she could sit with them her blue eyes fell on a girl's face. A familiar girl's face. It was..."Kiri!" A grin flashed across her lips as Nancy quickly moved to open the compartment door. "Whoa...I'm soo glad I found you...I almost thought I had to sit with-" It was only then that she noticed that there was somebody else in the compartment with Kiri. A boy. An older boy. "Oh...I...I'm sorry. I'm Nancy." She gave the boy a small smile before descending on one of the vacant seats.
No way to get her out of this compartment anymore.

He put the guitar aside and looked again at Kiri. "I'll keep playing in a bit...I..." Yeah, he was sort of embarrassed. Very few people had seen him play. "...am not used to public, yet..." Em chuckled, then considered it'd be nice to go into a conversation with Kiri. "So...ready for your fourth year...Ms. Starstalker?" Wow, that soon? Em met Kiri on her first year and now...she was ready for her fourth one. Sure, Em was really going to miss Kiri. Sigh...
Just then, another girl who knew Kiri stepped in as well. He grinned as both greeted each other then when she introduced, Em stood up to offer her a seat. Gentleman he was, yeah right...
"I'm Emiliano Saenz...nice to meet you, Nancy..." He replied, offering his hand for a shake. "And it's no problem...welcome..." He grinned.
"Hey, don't stop," protested Kiri, poking Emiliano's knee as she placed the guitar on the seat next to him. "You're really good!" She remembered vaguely that, ages ago, she'd given Lima's guitar a try when she'd seen the girl out in the grounds somewhere. Kiri's inexpert movements certainly didn't produce the sounds Emiliano's had just now.
"Am I really 'public' to you?" she asked, smiling slightly. "Come on! You can play in front of me."
Maybe he would. Later, though. The guitar was silent now. Kiri looked at it as Emiliano talked. The larger strings were vibrating gently to the motion of the train.
She nodded. "I think so... But I can't believe it'll be my fifth year already! I mean... OWLs! I'll just hope," she added with a sigh, "we'll have a good replacement for Professor Truebridge. And someone new to teach Astronomy, too." Kiri glared out of the window. "That Borr was an absolute-..."
What he was, however, Kiri couldn't say (which might have been a good thing) because the compartment door slid open to reveal... Nancy. Kiri gave a wave that was supposed to convey greeting and beckoning at the same time. "Sit! Not sure who you didn't want to meet, but we won't let them in." She slid aside on her seat to make room for Nancy and was about to introduce Emiliano when he did so himself. Kiri was a bit surprised they'd never met each other before, but Hogwarts was apparently a bigger castle than she'd thought? "How are you?" she asked when the girl had made herself comfortable. "Looking forward to the holidays?"
