Marie was happy to finally be getting on the train to go home. The End of Term Feast was not what she had expected at all. After all that happened she didn't even know if she wanted to go back to Hogwarts for her second year.
She walked towards the back of the train looking for someone she knew so she wouldn't have to sit by herself. Finally making it to the back she found Kay sitting in a compartment but she wasn't alone, there was a older boy with her who was not Kevin. 'Good, Kevin is not with her, now is the perfect time to question her about what is going on with those two.' She walked into the compartment and closed the door behind her.

Looking at the boy she said "Hi, I'm Marie, are you going to be riding in here?"

Marie sat down across from Kay, no sitting next to her, she wanted to see the look on Kays face when she asked her about Kevin. "Hi Kay, glad I found you. I wanted to talk to you before we left but I got busy." Looking at her with a sly little grin Marie asked "So, what is up with you and Kevin? He told me that he looooves you and that he treats you like a princess. Why did I have to hear this from him and not you? I thought we were friends? Friends should tell each other these things." Maybe Marie was wrong to assume that her and Kay were friends, maybe Kay only wanted to be friends in the classroom. Maybe she would rather be friends with Hufflepuffs. 'Wait, that can't be, Kevin is a Slytherin. If she can date a Slytherin then she can be friends with one too.' "We are friends right?"
