Ferris listened as the girl in his arms explained that it was intimidating to tell someone that you liked them and his eyebrows rose. "I think I know that better than anyone," he said with a laugh. "Do you know how scared I was to tell you how much I liked you?" he asked with an amused smile. "I was so afraid you were just going to stare at me like I was crazy and walk off." He let out a laugh as he remembered his near-shaking hands and his heartrate going up when he had first told her of his feelings.
