In a rather rare interview, actor Alan Rickman opened up about working on the
Harry Potter series and his involvement in it as Professor Severus Snape. During the sit-down chat, which took place this past Monday at the Hudson Union Society, Alan explained about what brought him to play the role of Snape, working with Chris Columbus, Alfonso Cuaron, Mike Newell, and David Yates, how much he would allude to in regards to what is left to shoot in
Deathly Hallows, and much more.
Alan spoke in particular about Daniel Radcliffe, noting that to this point, he has not shot any sequences with him for
Deathly Hallows. He also mentioned having seen Dan on Broadway last year in
Equus, and the fact that he now regards his young costar as a fellow grown-up. The videos can be seen below.
