"EEK!" Rachel shrieked in surprise as she was pulled from the water and onto the soppy, drenched, bare torso of Plymouth Morgan. o_O
"Pl-" she began when he enveloped her in one of the TIGHTEST hugs she had ever experienced - and she had given and had her fair share of tight hugs
Livvy, anyone? so that was SAYING something. It was a good thing Reid was nicely far away in the dungeons...
"Plymouth!" she called hoarsely, unable to breath as her air supply was cut off.
"You're VERY welcome," croak croak - and then, because the Birthday Boy's festive mood had finally got to her, the sixth year squeezed him back REAL tight before patting him gently on the back and letting him go.
"I'll miss ya next year, Plymouth Morgan," she stated simply with a gigantinormous smile.

Gurgle. Gurgle. They plunged into the water, much thanks to Rachel. Guuuurrgle. HEEELP. She's dyyyiiing! Why was the girl waving at her? Was Rachel saying goodbye?! Was she trying to drown poor LIVVEH? AAHHHH!!! MUSTBREATHEMUSTBREATHE. Livvy flailed her arms and went back up to the surface, gasping for air. She inhaled and exhaled numerous of times until she felt like enough air had been sucked in to last her a lifetime. When Rachel came back for air also, Livvy punched the girl playfully and gently in the elbow. "Hey youuuu.."
Rachel giggled.
"Heya back!" she smiled and winked at the now calm looking Livvy. Hehe.
"How have you been doing?" she asked as she twirled her hair from side to side on the surface of the water, savouring the coolness on her scalp - her hair was always so bloody thick the cold never actually got to it.
Now, please do not misinterpret this - this thing with the common room being a pool and the summer fast approaching and Plymouth's birthday was FUN, really - but Rachel began to feel a sense of sadness wash over her. So many people were leaving... people that she had shared six years of education with. Last year, having been too preoccupied with her overly dramatic life and exams, she hadn't really paid this much attention to how sad she felt whenever people she cared for left.
Like, for example, at the beginning of term the sixth year had had to get used to the fact that Head Girl Anna would no longer be around - and THAT had been strange. Next year... No Willow, no Copernicus nor Plymouth, no REID... ACK! Plunging her head swiftly under the water, she shook it fiercely to get rid of the small pricks of moisture that had formed at the corners of her eyes.
Hey - at least Livvy was staying.
