It was weird for Jake as he stepped into the Undersecretary's office knowing that Samantha wouldn't be there to greet him. She had left so suddenly - they hadn't even exchanged goodbye's. Ever since he had begun his Ministry career, Samantha Rose had ALWAYS been there to help him - heck, if it weren't for her, he wouldn't have Rachel and THAT was a scary thought.

"Jake Rider - Head of Education," Jake quickly introduced himself, blinking as he suddenly took in the GIRLISHNESS of the office. Er... Everyone and their own personal tastes? Plus, he wasn't one to talk - just look at HIS office.
