Silas sighed heavily as he felt something hit his shoulder, and then his other shoulder. And then the back of his head. He was grateful, at least, that he'd been looking down, trying to puzzle out what to do about the birds. A face full would not have been welcoming.
Backing away from underneath the birds, Silas walked over toward Ben, who had apparently been watching the fun. Attempting as best he could to clean himself with his wand, he looked at his boss and simply said, "I need to go have a shower. May I go?"
