"I know what you did" Marcus said quietly still looking down at Jake, with the two wands raised in hand. So many emotions flashed across his face, sadness, a flicker of anger, betrayal but mostly sadness. The hurt that Marcus, was feeling could not even be put into words. He wasn't even sure what to do now that he had found Jake. Marcus, stepped back from the boy and said just one word.
"Why?"
Blowing the platform apart had, in Jake's mind, been a dirty trick. The boy flinched and curled himself up tight so he wasn't hit with any flying debris. And then suddenly, he didn't have a wand, and Lawson was towering over him, Tibi standing all the way back by the door.
There was only one emotion in Jake's eyes face and body language. Fear. Absolute and total fear. Fear of what had happened, what would happen, what might happen, what was happening, what would never happen and the results of what had happened because of him.
Unable to find the words, Jake cowered down on the floor, shaking his head frantically, saying the only thing that came to mind. "Duhh-don't rrrrrememmmmber iiiiit..."
