Completely ignoring Evelyn, who she would deal with later, she grabbed her wand and yelled a curse at Destiny, that would turn her into a cat if it hit her. ((OOC: I don't know the actual spell, so just pretend she said it)) That's right. Don't mess with Keeley. Now Josh could love her!

Evelyn thought maybe they could have been friends, but love potion or not, Keeley just went on the bad list. And just for good measures, "Petrificus Totalus."

Aww, Evelyn was the best. Taking the girls wand and the full body bind. Destiny would have taken care of her herself, but Josh was so close. 'Josh, could you like back up!?' Yucky boys.
Kazimeriz raised his wand again, casting. "Finite Incantatem!" to stop further students from getting into duels over false love. "There, now-- that's quite enough."

OKAY. They needed to speed up the process. "Okay, I'm going to stir up the potion and boil it. Get the other ingredients ready," Livvy said, in a rushed tone as she picked up the ingredients list and shoved it in Samson's face. Not rudely of course. 'Course not. Whisssstle.

SPOILER!!: Instructions
STANDARD CLASS XX POTION BASE

STEP ONE:
Purified water, 4 ounces
Fluxweed, two bunches- finely crushed
Lovage pollen - 2 drams
3 lovage seeds, whole
Bloodroot, 3 roots- split lengthwise, scrape inner membrane out
Apple cider, 8 ounces
Lionfish heart, minced
Griffin dandruff, 1 dram

Warm water until just before boiling.
Crush fluxweed with mortar and pestle, add to water. Allow to come to a brisk boil.
Add lovage pollen, stir until dissolved.

Potion should take on a light golden colour.
Stir slowly, alternating clockwise and counterclockwise stirs
bring potion back up to a boil and allow to simmer 5 minutes
Add inner membrane ONLY of bloodroots; do NOT include the tough outer membrane of the root!!!
Add apple cider and lionfish heart; potion should take on an iridescent sheen and a light pink to purple cast
Add griffin dandruff and simmer until your potion takes on a deep pink to red sheen.

DO NOT GO FORWARD, wait for further instructions.

Livvy picked up the stirring stick and placed it in the cauldron as she began stirring. She peered at it, waiting for the pollen of the lovage seeds to dissolve. They were FINALLY getting somewhere. As the potion took on a light-ish golden-ish yellow-ish... whatever color, Livvy stirred the potion slowly clockwise at first. Every now and then she switched it to counterclockwise... then back.

The Ravenclaw returned to look at the fire and poked her wand gently at the fire and turned it around to turn up the heat. Livvy waited for the potion to boil and then turned to look at Samson expectedly.
He levitated a basket filled with small clear tubes with corks down the aisles. Inside the tubes was a measure of clear liquid. "I ask that each of you take a phial of potion from the basket. Drink it only if you have taken a love potion. Those of you who have not yet had the opportunity to use your potion may stay after class if you still wish to sample your results, and may take this antidote after you have done so." Kazimeriz smirked a little. "Be warned, the antidote is very, very bitter... For the loss of love, even manufactured love, is always a bitter, even painful experience."

He began to pace a little as he spoke. "From the grumbling I have heard, I suspect that many of you are displeased with this little... opportunity... I have provided to experience love potion first hand. I want you all to understand why this opportunity was provided to you. Love potion is, without a doubt, among the most dangerous of potions-- as you have experienced today, it robs you of reason and causes impetuous, reckless behavior, even causing some to be moved to dueling... and often, dueling to the death is not unheard of over that most dangerous of emotions, love."

"In spite of the dangers of love potion, it is an uncontrolled potion -- easy to obtain and simple to administer. Witches and wizards who have not personally gone through the pain and suffering that manufactured love brings often unblinkingly will use this potion on the unsuspecting object of their affection, and the result is rarely good. It is liquid betrayal and ends up hurting both the administrator and the consumer most times it is used, and so I caution you to think before you reach for it in pursuit of your true love."

"So, if it is so dangerous, why did I ask my class to take it? I prefer that my students be exposed to this potion in a controlled classroom setting, with a partner they are not already emotionally invested in, so you can feel the effects first hand -- and will be moved never to use it. I hope you will also learn to be vigilant -- wizards and witches alike -- in any setting in which someone might slip a love potion into your food or drink, and most of all to recognize the symptoms of a love potion's influence. Most of you probably experienced a strong surge of emotion that seemed without rational basis, and you may have also noticed a vague, momentary tingling sensation and a bit of warmth in your cheeks. You may have ascribed these feelings to being close to the object of your affection. Be alert! When these symptoms appear and you seem to have an unnatural , obsessive interest in someone who historically has not been interesting to you romantically, you may be the victim of love potion."

Kazimeriz continued pacing. "For those of you who have now experienced this insidious potion first hand... Knowing how it feels to consume love potion, would you ever use it on a love, a friend or a foe? Why or why not? When is its use acceptable to you? It is a complex ethical question, and I would like to hear your opinions on the matter."
