Carter was devastated. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me." he begged Marilyn. "I don't know what's coming over me. I'm just so confused." he felt like his heart was breaking. His two favorite girls... they both wanted him to go away. But he couldn't. He couldn't leave them. Not ever.
