Lucy looked around the room when the professor mentioned finding a partner of the opposite gender.

"Gosh darn it, I need a partner."

Well, Rafe was out of the question. And Torin was working with Reese. She didn't know who else to ask...so she looked around the room, hoping some guy would be nice enough to be partners with her.
