Tibi sighed. He wasn't going to lie to Lawson. "I didn't want to give up my wand, sir. I haven't not had it on me.. since..." Tibi looked over at the girls, over at Jake and then back up at Lawson. "Since the last time someone else used it." Tibi gave Lawson a look that he hoped said "you know when I'm talking about," without having to say it.

And of course, he had to be honest. "Didn' wanna swap..."
"At least you're both honest, I'll give you that but it's not going to stop me from taking five points off each of you. Annnnd you will both stay after class and I'll figure out what to do with you then." Lawson made a shooing gesture with his hands, "Go back to your seats."

Turning her attention back to the professor, she waited for him to finish before making up a quick excuse in her mind. "I'm sorry professor. I guess since the end of the year is coming up so quickly, with the homework piling up and exams...if there are exams, I don't know, but I'm still studying like crazy. Turning to the two girls a smirk played across his lips as he listened to their excuses. Typical Slytherins.
"You can probably see why I would have a hard time believing the two of you, can't you? So that will be five points each from Slytherin and both of you can stay behind after class also." He gestured with his hands for them to return to their seats. "Oh and if you think your antics before was what you call a bit of fun, wait to you see what I have in store for you both."
Lawson lent back against his desk and breathed in deeply, feeling himself growing very tired indeed. "Right you may all take back your own wands. I think I have made my point now." So now for the fun part of the lesson.
"Okay so now we are going to practice some spells. For the first to third years we will be practicing the 'Incacerous' spell and for the older students will be covering the 'Duro' spell. So raise your hands and tell me what these spells will do?"
