As part of the promotion for the release of the Ultimate Collector's editions of
Sorcerer's Stone and
Chamber of Secrets, a new
video has been released showing producer David Heyman at the first press conference in 2000 reading a note he received from J.K Rowling. The note entails her feelings about Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson being cast for the roles of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger, respectively. It can be viewed below.

Having seen Dan Radcliffe's screen test, I don't think Chris Columbus could have found a better Harry. I am also delighted to see that we're going to have a screen Ron and Hermione who can bicker as if they'd been doing it all their lives.
