Evelyn turned to look at Destiny, slowly understanding what the girl had said. Shaking her head, she forced a small smile and even laughed a little. No use in worrying everyone. "No, no the potion worked fine. I just...'Want to run away right now'...your eye." She gestured slightly to Destiny's black eye. "I'm so so sorry. I can't believe I did that to you. I can't believe I set the desk on fire too."
Looking around her cauldron, she could see the burnt spot. 'Why is it that I always end up burning either myself, or something around me in classes?' This was the second time she had done this, and hopefully be the last. Definitely didn't want to end up burning the school down. 'Is that even possible?' she thought curiously, back to frowning again.
Destiny was starting to worry that Evelyn's potion had did the opposite of what it was supposed to do. Instead of making her normal it had made her sad. But then Evelyn had started to talk and Destiny paid attention.
'She was upset because of my black eye and the desk?' Well that was just silly. Destiny started to laugh a little.
'My eye? Really? This is nothing! It doesn't even hurt see,' she said poking at the bruise around her eye wincing just a little
'Just think of it as my battle wound.' As for the desk,
'Burning the desk on fire was kinda funny and scary, but only because of my feathers!' I wouldn't have liked to be a burnt chincken..' 'And your hand is better, so that's good! But the sad thing is your book,' she glanced at Evelyn's burnt book and wiped away a fake tear.
'poor little book never had a chance.' she said shaking her head and trying to cover up a smile.
