She smiled as he reached for some form of coffee, glad Elan seemed to have perked up. She felt the knot in her stomach loosen, as he seemed far less pained.
"Any time," she said warmly. "It's what friends are for, right?" She smiled, before looking intrigued. "You have any different things to focus on planned?"
As he heard her say thanks, he smiled a little. He felt better, and he knew she was the reason why. And he did think she was pretty.
As he drank the coffee, he felt the warm liquid soothe his belly and he sat up and looked for a bit more food.
He smiled at her. "Yes, I think that is exactly what you're for." As she asked about his plans, he shook his head no. " Just school I think. That will be enough with all that's going on."
