Adrienne's attention switched from the girl again as Miles responded to her earlier comments about mischief, sending him a quick grin as he spoke. "Sometimes well-planned pranks can be just as entertaining, though. I should know. It really depends on who you're around," she said, thinking about the things she'd done in the past to Riley. But then, most of her comments to him, like her jab at him regarding Phoebus at the lake, were spur-of-the-moment. It was fun making him think she was evil, and it was a change from his usual robot comments.

But then her mental tangent was interrupted by the girl speaking again, and smiled. "Exactly. And it could even be useful if your feet were covered," she said, then laughed a little, good-naturedly, as the questions kept coming. It seemed she really was curious about her shoes, which she found flattering. "No, and I don't really remember. I've worn heels for years now. Not constantly, but by now it's no big deal walking around in them. It just takes practice," she responded after a few seconds, a wry smile creeping onto her face again as the girl started playing with the lights again. And then she got amused just waiting to see what the two were going to do next. At least she wouldn't be bored for a while, it seemed.
