Iris smiled at Wesley and hoped that she liked lots of food colouring in her cakes. if not then ... well ... at least there was the thought of the cup cakes, right?
EEP!
Wesley had been starting to nod off into the warm steam wafting off of her half-eaten potatoes (she had over-stacked), but she was jolted awake by a very familiar voice.
Disoriented, eyes wide but unseeing, she looked around wildly for the source before focusing on a very familiar person.
"Iris!" she said happily,
"How ar-" her greeting was cut off by the appearance of a yellow box that was...meant for
her!
"OH! Oh my! Thank you!" she exclaimed, suddenly awake, pulling the box closer and opening the lid...yellow was her favorite color...exposing the CUPCAKES!
Wesley
loved cupcakes!
She must not have been as full as she thought, because she reached in, gingerly picking up one of the sweet-fluffy creations and began to peal off the wrapping.
Having barely pealed off a little of the cupcake holder, the Hufflepuff suddenly stopped, and placed it gently back in the box.
"I...I can't eat it. It's too pretty!"
She wanted to keep them forever.
Looking bashfully at her Muggle Studdies partner, Wesley suddenly giggled, "Sorry! I absolutely forgot!" Where was her mind? She had been carrying around her cards with the hope she would find the people they where for. Sadly, most of them remained after weeks following their creation- she just never saw anybody!
Wesley reached deep into the black satchel, pulling out a
card and handing it to the Slytherin.
"I know it's not as nice as the lovely cupcakes...sorry. Merry Christmas to you too Iris!" Oh please like it!
